Reel Twisted is a genre-focused production company founded by Lauren Budd and Adrian Ramírez León.

We are writers, performers and filmmakers developing our own slate of original horror and thriller projects across both vertical and horizontal formats. Alongside our own work, we are always open to collaborating with producers, financiers, distributors and fellow creatives who share our passion for genre storytelling.

What shapes our approach is a combination of creative and commercial experience. Adrian has built an audience of more than 75 million views through his genre-driven short-form work, developing a strong understanding of what captures attention and resonates with horror audiences. Lauren's background spans film packaging, acquisitions, international sales and distribution, providing valuable insight into how projects are positioned, marketed and ultimately find their audience.

Together, these experiences influence how we develop stories from the earliest stages, helping us identify concepts that are both creatively distinctive and commercially viable. From viral horror reels and vertical dramas to festival-circuit shorts and feature films, our focus remains the same: creating bold genre stories that entertain, unsettle and stay with audiences long after the credits roll.
